This week for reading I'm going through my new copy of Joy of Cooking
I'm actually making notes of recipes to try first and am filling a notebook full of ideas. Knut is so excited.
As for knitting, I'm currently working on this sleeve for a cardigan for me. It's one of my own designs, and I'm debating at this point if I have given myself enough ease. It seems to be a problem when I knit for myself, and I want this one to be really cozy.
So far I really love how the color pattern is working out, and plan to stay with that! It is puckering a little more than I would like, but I think it will block out quite nicely...I hope.

That grey and yellow look beautiful together. Happy cooking too!
Wow! That sleeve is fantastic so far. I have been meaning to try two colour knitting and plan to start with a hat, and some worsted weight yarn. I can't even imagine getting to the point that I could do a whole sweater with it, and it looks like your yarn is thin. That's part of what I love about yarn along...seeing what is possible if I keep learning. Thank you so much for sharing.
The pattern looks lovely!
I love the color combination and such details for the colorwork. I had to laugh at your comment about your husband getting excited about potential food recipes! It does making cooking a lot more fun - when you have an eager and appreciative audience. So what recipe(s) are you planning to try first?
We LOVE the Joy of Cooking. It is a great reference for substitutions and tells you all about different ingredients. :) What new recipe did you make this week? ~Heather Krupa
Love the pattern on your sweater!
Lovely design on your sweater! I hope that your sweater fits the way you want :)
I'm on my second copy of Joy of Cooking, that's how much I've used it.
