Here's a post-race shot of 2 of my guys and one of my little ladies. David wore his goggles all the time just in case we said we could go to the pool again. Knut was tired, and he may hate me posting this. I think he looks pretty good for skiing 58 km in a blizzard only a few hours earlier.
Here's the finish line for the kids' race. This was my practice shot with the first place finisher for that race, who was a 10 year old girl. If only I had known this was the last shot my camera's battery could handle, as David was just a few moments behind her. :(
Here's my new coffee mug that I bought on a splurge the other day. It's just happy. I'm a wild and crazy spender I tell you. I bought a chicken mug too. I feel as a chicken owner it would be sacrilege not to.my exchange from Quince and Co, waiting for me when we got back, along with a sweet note in return from whoever handled my order. This bird-egg blue is just perfect in so many ways.
Ravelry group if anyone is interested in that. There have been some errors in 2 of my patterns I released last year even though I had them professionally tech edited. Although they were really minor, it is worse than a pebble in your shoe, and so I'm going back to having my patterns tested before released, not just edited. It will me a delay in the release, but if it means I don't have to deal with the horror of errata, I'm on board.
